Andrew Williamson has been Director of Marketing and Commercial at AAT since August 2008. He is responsible for strategic marketing and brand development activities in four key areas of work: markets and products; communications; digital delivery and business development including international markets. Andrew’s role is to increase AAT’s brand visibility; ensuring that AAT broadens its reach and impact, and is thought of as an essential and relevant professional qualification and membership body. Prior to AAT, Andrew was Head of Marketing & Communications at the Science Museum (including the National Railway Museum and National Media Museum). He has an extremely broad marketing background gained within a variety of sectors including FMCG, financial services, utilities and strategic consultancy. Andrew has a very simple view of marketing, which is that it is the ‘commercial application of common sense’.
